The Arkansas-based outdoor retail chain rebrands and expands product selection at former Summit Canyon Mountaineering stores in Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction.
 
Jonesboro, AR – 9/12/24 – Gearhead Outfitters (GHO) is excited to announce the grand reopening of its newly rebranded stores in Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction, Colorado, formerly known as Summit Canyon Mountaineering. Customers are invited to celebrate this milestone during the grand opening events happening from September 12th through 15th.

Following the acquisition earlier this year, GHO has worked diligently to blend the legacy of Summit Canyon with the expanded product lines, offering even more top-tier outdoor brands. From On and Birkenstock to Altra, Danner, and Smartwool, outdoor enthusiasts will find an enhanced variety and selection that complements the brands they’ve always trusted.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Summit Canyon customers into the GHO community and invite everyone to explore the new, expanded product offerings,” said Ted Herget, founder of Gearhead Outfitters. “We’ve carried the same dedication to personalized service, but now with an even wider selection of outdoor gear for every kind of adventurer."

  • Raffles & Freebies: Saturday-Sunday – Free tees and tote bags (while supplies last)
