National Walgreens Concerto Competition

Midwest Young Artists, a leading music conservatory, is pleased to announce the 19th-annual Walgreens National Concerto Competition, to be held on December 27th and 28th, 2014 at the Midwest Young Artists Center in Highwood and Bennett Gordon Hall at Ravinia. The competition is open to students up through 12th grade in two divisions. Prizes include the chance to perform with the critically acclaimed Symphony Orchestra and as a featured soloist on the prestigious From the Top radio program. Walgreens Corporation?s annual sponsorship enables MYA to provide students with distinguished judges, a DVD recording of their performance, written performance evaluations, and an inviting and nurturing environment in which to perform.
