Relay For Life of Southeast Lake County

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Southeast Lake County (formerly known as Relay For Life of Highland Park/Deerfield) is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

This year, we are bringing Relay For Life back to Highland Park! At Relay, teams of families, organizations, friends, and businesses camp out over night at the Recreation Center of Highland Park and take turns walking around the track. Each team is asked to have at least one person walking the track all night - cancer never sleeps, and for the night neither do we!

Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities across the nation, along with 20 other countries, gather to take part in this global movement and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.

This year, our goal is 40 teams and $75,000 donated to the American Cancer Society. Please join us as we celebrate a world with less cancer and more birthdays!
