BRAND BASICS AND BEYOND
Presented by: Betsy Westhoff, Marketing Consultant
Coke, Nike and Apple are brands. Have you ever asked yourself whether the principles these well established companies use to communicate “what they are all about” are the same ones that you should use to tell people about your strengths? Well, they are!
Developing your brand and communicating how you can enhance an organization is key to your job search.
Betsy Westhoff is a marketing and brand consultant who began her career with one of the most well known brands on the planet: McDonald’s. While there, she worked in legal, marketing and promotion. Being associated with McDonald’s gave Betsy a firsthand appreciation for the incredible value of a strong brand.
Later in her career Betsy worked with smaller companies and non-profit organizations helping them identify the essence of their own brands and, importantly, how to communicate the most important things about the brands to key stake holders. With feedback from her clients, Betsy developed and expertise in coaching individuals to success; telling their professional and personal stories in a way that enhances their personal brands.
